This Greek Macedonian Kopis, used by the cavalry of Alexander the Great, has a blade crafted from high carbon steel; the thin blade profile matched with a central spine for rigidity ensures that this Kopis is a quick and fast striking blade and not a ponderous performer. The guard is steel and the grip is finished with two halves of wood solidly riveted with the steel tang. Included is a quality leather scabbard with hanging baldric. Excellent realistic feeling.
